The first beach of the Vendicari Nature Reserve is next to the excavations of the ancient Greek city of Eloro. You can reach this beautiful beach by car and in high season offers a paid parking lot with a small kiosk where you can buy refreshments . The beach is not equipped .

Driving from Noto in the direction Pachino after about 7 km, on the provincial road SP19 , you’ll meet the sign ” Calamosche ” , one of the most beautiful and famous beaches of the UNESCO.
A dirt road leads to the parking lot , from here walking for about twenty minutes you will reach the beach of Calamosche , a very picturesque sandy bay enclosed between two rocky headlands that mean that the sea is almost always calm.
